Gas Prices
We complain a lot about gas prices in the U.S. (“petrol” as its called elsewhere). Norway is very rich in oil, but for some reason it’s still very expensive here. Some of the locals actually drive across into the Russian border to get gas, and its about 1/3 the price.
The prices are in NOK per liter, so a quick calculation tells us that 14.40 NOK per liter is about $6.60 per gallon! We’d riot in LA if the prices rose that high!
